Although the theatre show on everyone’s lips this month has been Hamilton, after thousands bagged tickets to see the show in it’s 15-week Manchester run later this year - there are still dozens of shows to keep you thoroughly entertained if you simply can’t wait that long to be sat in the stalls of Manchester’s best-loved theatres.
And this April, theatre-goers will have the chance to see a Pussycat Doll, a Strictly professional, or even a Casualty star as celebrities are taking over the Palace Theatre and Opera house.
And you don’t have to break the bank for a night out in the city centre, either, with some tickets available from as little as £13, depending where you choose to sit.

If you fancy a last minute trip out, My Fair Lady is running at the Palace Theatre until April 1, with some affordable £13 tickets on offer as part of the ATG Price Promise. The multi-award winning production has been in town for two weeks following a critically acclaimed West End run.
But straight after that, from April 3-15, is The Bodyguard, starring The Pussycat Dolls’ Melody Thornton. The smash hit musical stars the Grammy-nominated singer as Rachel Marron, who will perform hits from the late singer Whitney Houston, including I Will Always Love You and I Wanna Dance With Somebody.
The romantic thriller sees former Secret Service agent turned bodyguard, Frank Farmer, hired to protect superstar Rachel from an unknown stalker. Tickets are priced at £22.50 and can be found on the ATG website here.
Over at the Opera House, there are no fewer than eight shows this month, including a sold out evening with Priscilla Presley, as well as Ryan Adams’ solo
