Charlotte vs Chelsea UK time, TV channel, live stream and team news

Chelsea continue their pre-season tour of the States as they take on Charlotte at the Bank of America Stadium in the early hours of Thursday morning UK time.

The Blues beat Club America in their last friendly outing and Thomas Tuchel will carry on getting his players up to speed and bed in his new signings in North Carolina.

We are now less than three weeks away from the new Premier League season getting underway, with the summer transfer window flying by.

New signings Raheem Sterling and Kalidou Koulibaly are both with their new teammates in America, although only Sterling has been guaranteed to play in the match in Charlotte.

The game kicks off at 12.30am UK time on Thursday 21 July at the Bank of America Stadium, which is 7.30pm local time.

Chelsea confirmed: ‘All of Chelsea’s US Tour matches will be free to view on the official website and The 5th Stand app.’

Sterling will be featuring, with Thomas Tuchel confirming: ‘Raheem is absolutely ready to go. He will be on the pitch against Charlotte and we are happy about that. He is excited to play his first match.’

However, on Koulibaly, the German said: ‘We’re a bit torn so I have to speak to him about what we do. He did some training sessions now with us but he’s still in a very individual programme so no double sessions on the pitch.

‘He trains with the team but there are players who are in the third week of preparation and on a completely different level of physical foundation so it’s not a good match for him to straight away play.

‘I don’t want to rule it out completely but it’s very likely that he maybe will not play and we will not see him on the pitch.’
