Charlotte Flair: Lita wants to reignite feud with major WWE star

WWE Hall of Famer Lita has hinted we may have not seen the last of her in a WWE ring. 

Earlier this month we saw the 46-year-old unsuccessfully challenge Becky Lynch for the Raw Women’s Championship. However, she believes WWE were originally going to pitch for her to face Charlotte Flair at the event instead.

Lita and Flair exchanged words earlier this year on SmackDown, in the build-up to The Royal Rumble and the former Women’s champion has revealed she’d like to continue that program with the current SmackDown Women’s Champion.

Speaking to Metro.co.uk Lita namedrops The Queen along with a number of other WWE superstars she’d be interested in competing against. 

“I think I would be lucky to step in with any of those women on the roster. There are some standouts,’ she said, after getting to see many of them up close in the Royal Rumble last month.

I had fun being in there with Shotzi, I think that would be cool to do something again. I was really impressed with Rhea Ripley, I’d love to so something with her. Of course, pick up where I left off with Charlotte Flair.

Bianca (Belair) is an incredible athlete. And, you know what, Nattie! Nattie’s been there, tried and true. I’d love to be in the ring with her as well.’

Right now, there are no plans on Lita competing at WrestleMania, especially with Flair busy defender her title against Ronda Rousey in the main event of night one of the weekend’s festivities. However, after her impressive showing at Elimination Chamber there’s every reason to believe that WWE could revisit her angle with Charlotte in the foreseeable future.
