Joe Rogan has given his thoughts on what turned Charles Oliveira into a UFC champion after years of adversity.

Over the course of the last four years, Charles Oliveira has done a complete 180 in his mixed martial arts career.

The Brazilian was always a talented fighter who knew how to compete in the UFC, but now, he’s a man riding an 11-fight win streak with a reputation as the best lightweight on the planet.

Of course, he isn’t technically the UFC lightweight champ right now after having the title stripped from him, but the level of competition he’s beaten is out of this world.

In just his last five fights alone he has defeated Kevin Lee, Tony Ferguson, Michael Chandler, Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje, also known as a who’s who of elite 155-pound stars.

‘Do Bronx’ is riding the biggest wave of his career and after being dubbed a quitter by many in the past, nobody can deny the heart he’s showcased in recent times.

Joe Rogan, who has watched on in awe as Oliveira has climbed through the ranks, recently explained what he’d heard regarding Charles’ big turnaround.
