Channel 4 Hollyoaks star Jessamy Stoddart shares news she's pregnant with 'rainbow baby'

Hollyoaks star Jessamy Stoddart has announced she is pregnant. The actress, who is known for playing Liberty Savage in the Channel 4 soap shared the joyous news with fans on Tuesday evening (August 9).

She confirmed that she and husband Ryan O'Gorman are expecting their first child after being on their own 'journey' to get to this point. Jessamy shared a picture of a circular wooden block, which had "Our little Rainbow," written on it.

It also confirmed her due date as being December 2022. The soap star, 29, then shared a gorgeous snap of herself posing in a pair of unbuttoned blue jeans and a nude shirt that was unbuttoned halfway up, showing off her blossoming baby bump.

"Baby O’G, you are so loved already. Our little rainbow, due December 2022," she wrote alongside the post. Jessamy then went on to explain: "Getting to this point has been a journey for us - the road to parenthood often is, so to anyone reading this heavy hearted on their own baby journey, I see you and I feel you."

Her Hollyoaks co-stars were quick to share their messages of congratulations with the parents-to-be. Rory Douglas Speed, who recently became a dad for the second time with former co-star partner Nadine Mulkerrkin, commented: "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh." with a string of heart emojis. While Nadine said: "Yaaaayyy. We can’t wait to meet you Baby O’G."

Nancy Osbourne actress Jessica Fox wrote: "The most beautiful news." Steph Waring, who plays Cindy Cunningham in the Channel 4 soap, replied: "Congratulations Jess such lovely news to hear." Mercedes McQueen actress Jen Metcalfe added: "Beautiful [heart emojis] congratulations."
