Championship wrap: Idah and Hogan on target

Adam Idah scored his first goal of the season to round off Norwich's 4-0 away win at Huddersfield to send the Canaries into second in the table.

The Republic of Ireland striker was sprung from the bench early for the injured Josh Sargent, side-footing home the visitors' fourth goal in their impressive rout of the struggling hosts.

Sargent had been injured in the process of giving David Wagner's side the lead on 11 minutes, Ashley Barnes doubling their advantage six minutes later. Jonathan Rowe scored his fifth goal in five games shortly after the restart, Idah capitalising on vast priaries of space in the home defence to slip home the fourth.

Ryan Hardie equalised for the visitors and it appeared set to be a frustrating afternoon for the hosts, until substitute Jay Stansfield delivered their third victory of the season with a glorious winner in the final seconds.

The lively Ryan Manning laid on both goals for Southampton as they beat QPR 2-1 at St. Mary's.

Striker Adam Armstrong fired in his fourth goal of the campaign to hide the gap left by absent Che Adams.

Earlier, Samuel Edozie's first professional goal and Jack Colback’s long-range daisy-cutter cancelled each other out within three first-half minutes.

Resurgent Leeds picked up their first three points of the season, coming back from a goal down to win a thriller at Ipswich 4-3.

It was the first loss of the Sky Bet Championship campaign for the former leaders, ending their 100 per cent record and a record-breaking run of 21 games without defeat.

A dynamic opening 20 minutes at Portman Road saw four goals, all coming
