Championship round-up: Duffy, Robinson and Moran on target, Leeds

Leeds moved level on points with Sky Bet Championship leaders Sunderland as they sealed a 2-1 win over Watford following two blunders from Hornets goalkeeper Daniel Bachmann.

The Austrian was at fault for both of Leeds' goals inside the first seven minutes, first palming Largie Ramazani’s shot over the line then parrying Willy Gnonto’s cross directly to Brenden Aaronson to score.

Kwadwo Baah pulled one back two minutes after the break for Watford, who were much improved in the second half, but Leeds held on to move up to second.

Daniel Farke’s side are level on points and goal difference with the Black Cats, who retain their position at the summit by virtue of having won one more match than Leeds.

Cardiff climbed out of the relegation zone with a second home win in the space of four days against Portsmouth, who dropped to the foot of the table.

A Regan Poole own goal and close-range effort from Republic of Ireland international Callum Robinson put Cardiff in command after 13 minutes and they held on to record a comfortable 2-0 victory, four days after a 5-0 thrashing of Plymouth.

The remaining five matches in the second tier finished in stalemates.

Kieran Morgan’s first career goal helped lift QPR off the bottom of the table as they drew 1-1 against Coventry, who had taken an early lead through Haji Wright.

Norwich fought back from two goals down to claim a 2-2 draw at Preston, who went ahead through Sam Greenwood’s penalty and Duane Holmes’ strike within the first quarter of an hour.

But the Canaries rallied as the terrific Borja Sainz pulled a goal back in first-half stoppage time and Ireland defender Shane Duffy bagged the equaliser just after the hour.
