Championship 2022/23 Key Dates: Fixtures Release Day, Transfer Window, Playoffs and More

Football fans are preparing for the 2022/23 Championship Season and we can reveal all the key dates you need to know before the campaign begins.

The 2021/22 EFL Championship season was very entertaining, with Fulham and AFC Bournemouth gaining automatic promotion, whilst Nottingham Forest beat Huddersfield in the playoff final.

With Watford, Burnley and Norwich relegated from the Premier League, there are a lot of teams that will be dreaming of promotion to England’s top flight.

With 46 matches played in a Championship season, there is a lot of excitement around the key dates and when the fixtures will be announced.

Fans of the Championship do not have to long to wait until the 2022/23 Championship fixtures are announced. The release day for these fixtures is Thursday 23rd June 2022. They should be revealed at 9 AM GMT.

The Championship fixtures for the 2022/23 season will be announced in multiple ways. All the Championship clubs will tweet out their fixtures, whilst sports news companies like Sky Sports News and BBC Sport will tweet out the fixtures as well.
