Champions League recap: Can you ace this quiz about the 2021/22 season?

The 2021/22 Champions League campaign has come to an end – and what a season it was.

Barcelona went into the tournament looking to win their sixth Champions League title.

But they failed to get going and were knocked out at the group stages for the first time since 2000.

Manchester United managed to scrape through their group courtesy of some heroics from the eternal Cristiano Ronaldo.

But they failed to get any further.

Real Madrid managed to make the final after coming through incredible ties against Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and Manchester City.

They looked down and out against PSG and City, while they were also taken to extra-time by Chelsea. But Los Blancos overcame adversity time after time as they battled their way to Paris.

Their opponents in the final were Liverpool. Jurgen Klopp’s side crushed all in their path as they cruised to their third final in five years.

But it was Real who lifted the trophy. Vinicius Jr scored the only goal of the game in the 59th minute as Carlo Ancelotti’s side were crowned champions of Europe once again.
