Champions League draw LIVE Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea discover quarter final opponents

Manchester City will learn who they face in the Champions League quarter finals today.

City beat Sporting in the last-16 thanks to a 5-0 first leg victory in Lisbon followed by a professional 0-0 draw at the Etihad. Pep Guardiola was critical of his side after the first leg, despite their big lead, but he was ultimately delighted to book a place in the Champions League last eight once again.

Now attention turns to the quarter finals, with big clubs like Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus exiting in the last round. Despite that, potentially difficult ties await against Liverpool, Bayern Munich or Real Madrid.

Chelsea, who beat City in last season's final, are also in the draw, as are Manchester United's conquerers Atletico Madrid. Benfica and Villarreal make up the list of possible opponents.

City will be especially keen to discover their opposition as the two legs of the quarter final fall either side of the Premier League showdown with Liverpool in April. Of course, that raises the possibility of facing Liverpool three times in succession if they draw eachother today.

Follow below for the draw live as it happens.

This is the Champions League quarter final line up. There are no restrictions on who can draw who, so City can face any of the other seven sides.
