Cesar Azpilicueta confronted Chelsea fan after Arsenal loss
Cesar Azpilicueta confronted a Chelsea fan at the end of their Premier League defeat to Arsenal on Wednesday evening.
The Spaniard had an eventful night as the Blues lost 4-2.
Chelsea’s captain notched Chelsea’s second goal of the night to make it 2-2 in the 32nd minute.
He went on to give away a penalty in stoppage-time as he dragged down Bukayo Saka inside the box.
Saka went on to convert the penalty and Chelsea’s defeat was confirmed.
Following the final whistle, Azpilicueta had a fiery confrontation with a Chelsea supporter.
The 32-year-old appeared to be heckled by a Chelsea supporter.
Azpilicueta was not happy and went over to the stands to confront him.
The two exchanged words for a few seconds before Azpilicueta left the scene. The fan had his thumbs up as Chelsea’s captain walked away.
