Celtics Player Celebrates NBA Title With Shift At Raising Cane's

Boston Celtics champ Al Horford is serving chicken tenders days after winning the title! Horford was spotted working at Raising Canes and giving back to the Boston faithful while his teammates were away in Miami, partying to celebrate the Larry O'Brien.

A 17-year veteran, Horford helped the Celtics strengthen their edge over the Dallas Mavericks and beat Mark Cuban's (ex) team in five games.

Horford, 38, celebrated the win with fans on Thursday, appearing at Raising Cane's location on Boylston Street for an honorary shift. WBUR in Boston caught up with Horford and the vet sounded content with a more understated celebration of Boston's championship.

After playing for Boston from 2017 to 2019, Horford completed his arc with the Celtics by returning for a second stint in 2021 and winning a championship with the C's after three seasons.

Horford added, "I’ve been all over the country, and I haven’t seen the love, the care, the commitment from people, not just for their sports but for their community."
