Celtic and Rangers Women face off in a big Easter Monday clash in South Lanarkshire this evening, knowing victory will put them right in the mix to claim the SWPL title.

League leaders Glasgow City conceded top spot to Hearts on Sunday with a 1-0 home defeat to the Jambos. who have now moved two points clear at the league summit.

But Gers - who last won the SWPL back in 2022 - can go just a point behind Hearts by coming out on top in the Old Firm derby tonight.

Leanne Crichton's side got one over their big rivals Celtic by edging them out in a penalty shootout to lift the Sky Sports Cup semi-final back in February - which the Light Blues later went onto lose to Glasgow City - and will hope to do the same at New Douglas Park this evening.

But Grant Scott's Hoops still have title ambitions of their own and will close the gap on Hearts to just three points if they can claim the bragging rights this time around.
