Celtic vs Portimonese suffers TV and live stream blackout AGAIN but Parkhead punters get boost over 3 key fixtures

The second friendly between Portimonense and Celtic this week is once again set to keep fans in the dark - but that won't be the case for long as the Parkhead club prepare for the next leg of their pre-season tour.

Brendan Rodgers has his team in Portugal for now and they played their first friendly against Portimonense during the wee which finished in a 0-0 draw. But it was behind closed doors with fans unable to watch live and it's set to be the same when they face off on Saturday. The friendly showdown, advertised on the Soccerway website for an 11am kick-off time at The Campus facility at Quinta de la Lago in the Algarve, will be their final game in Portugal before they take off to Japan.

And it will also be the last game fans are left in the dark on as the remaining three friendlies - with Yokohama F. Marinos, Gamba Osaka and Wolves - are all offered by the club as part of a three-game Celtic TV package.

They face Yokohama on Wednesday July 19 and Osaka on Saturday July 22 in Japan before heading to Ireland for their final pre-season clash against Wolves at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Saturday July 29. As none of the games take place in the UK, Celtic TV subscribers worldwide will be able to stream them all live and you can purchase an annual subscription here for £50.
