Celtic urged to take Rangers out by ANY MEANS NECESSARY as Brendan Rodgers salutes Green Brigade's big send off

A sizeable Celtic support led by the Green Brigade urged their heroes to triumph "by any means necessary" when they duke it out with Rangers in Sunday's 'seismic clash

The slogan – a collaborative effort between the GB and fellow ultras Bhoys – was plastered across the side of the Celtic Way as the manager Brendan Rodgers and his players left Celtic Park for their hotel ahead of the big one against their fierce rivals. Manager and coaching staff were quick to recognise the significant turnout as punters chanted the name of the boss and several of his star turns – including returning star Reo Hatate.

The Green Brigade urged punters to show up in their numbers and punters duly delivered. The champions are top by one point, having played a game more than Rangers, but can land a telling blow in the race for the title if they can win on Sunday. Rodgers urged his players to stay steely calm at the home of their rivals but it would have been hard not to feel the pre-match buzz as they departed amid a swathe of colour, noise and clamour.
