Celtic should heed Ange's warning about titles because there's more to life than obsessing about Rangers – Hotline

Rangers fans have come out fighting after a summer of getting slaughtered by opposition supporters. In fairness, Gers supporters have flung plenty of mud at their own club, too.

It seems the Bears are still angry but their ire has turned on Celtic punters who they feel have been crowing a little too much for their liking. Gary Stevenson, Newtonhill, was first out the blocks as he hit out at Rangers’ rivals. The emboldened Bluenose said: “After everyone is done rinsing Rangers perhaps they should check the facts.

“Rangers have added some much needed energy to the squad in an attempt to improve the Scottish Premiership. They continue to spend on the squad while other teams do nothing. Let’s be honest, if it wasn’t for Rangers transfer activity, supporters of all other teams would have nothing to talk about.”

Charles Adamson, Motherwell, was quick to give his fellow fan hauners. He said: “I have to laugh at some of these Celtic fans on the Hotline. Quick to disparage Rangers’ transfer business when they’ve done next to nothing. As their old hero Ange Postecoglou used to say, I don’t remember titles being won in August.”

But Tam Williamson, Lanarkshire, said: “The usual anti-Celtic mob, Messer’s Lowe, Wilson and Mullin etc are desperate to try to degrade the biggest and most successful club in Scotland at every opportunity whilst trying to give the false impression that their skint club is superior. Celtic may have their ownissues but they are light years ahead.”
