Celtic living rent free in Rangers fans' heads as pre-season defeat has Hotline sniggering

Celtic fell to their first pre-season defeat in Portugal but fans insists they aren't pushing the panic button - despite what the other side of the city might think.

The Hoops shipped three goals to Estrela Da Amadora as Brendan Rodgers rolled out his big guns in a behind-closed-doors friendly.

Some Rangers punters reckon it could be a sign of things to come as Gary Stevenson teased: "Unlucky Celtic for losing the Estrella da Amadori Super Cup. After winning the Cork Super Cup, their players must have been exhausted."

But Pat O'Reilly, Queens Park, wrote: "I've got to laugh at pre-season hysteria. Rangers fans are disillusioned. Celtic will blow them out of the water once again. We are light years ahead. And that's without Dermot's backing."

Celtic are Kings of Scotland but their European credentials have been battered by Bluenoses on the Hotline.
