It was the late, late show on Saturday as events in Dingwall and the east end of Glasgow cranked the pressure up on leaders Rangers ahead of this week’s momentous Old Firm clash.

While the champions couldn’t hang on to victory against Ross County after allowing Staggies sub Matty Wright to pinch a point, Celtic were pushing all the way to the end to edge out Dundee United and cut the gap to two points.

Now the jubilant Hoops reckon the time is ripe for their side to make their move in the title race.

Craig Mallon was the first caller up, saying: “Loving life under Ange Postecoglou. Rangers drop two points in added time and Celtic get a 90th-minute winner. It couldn’t have felt any sweeter. The league table is looking good right now and the future looks bright for the green and white.”

Liam Birney, Paisley, said: “I just hope the Ross County groundsmen were okay after their post match forking of the pitch. After all, it was covered in glass after Rangers allowed their bottle to crash again big time. The Celtic Reserves should now go above the full strength Rangers team on Wednesday!”
