Celtic fan hits the Rangers giggles over 2 Galacticos and claims Nico Raskin is Ibrox hype job – Hotline

Antonio Colak didn’t get a goal against Kilmarnock but he’s netted the praise of Rangers boss Michael Beale.

The Ibrox gaffer was delighted with the way his striker responded after being given a rare chance to fill in for Alfred Morelos. But while Beale was purring over the former PAOK ace’s performance in Saturday’s 3-1, there were fan frustrations over the opportunities the Light Blues coughed up for Killie in a sub-standard second-half showing. Robert Livingstone, Palm Beach, said: “It was nice to see Colak on from the kick-off, he played a good all-round game and it was a great first half to watch.

“Beale has finally woken up by keeping Colak on almost the full 90. Alfredo Morelos days are surely numbered as this side looked better with Colak leading the line. Cantwell looks very good too with his ball control and his passing when running with the ball at his feet. He’s a class player who look similar in style to Jim Baxter.”

But Steven Munro called in to say: “That was a the very definition of a game of two halves. Rangers were excellent in the first 45 and everything they weren’t at Hampden. Energetic, quick, slick and clinical. But the second half was like watching a repeat of the Viaplay Cup final with far too many sloppy mistakes. There’s still too many players who don’t have the right mentality at Ibrox.”

Celtic fan Henry Moffat, Stirling, was an interested observer of events at Ibrox, saying: “After hearing all week how Rangers would have beaten us 5-0 if Nicolas Raskin and Todd Cantwell had played at Hampden I thought I would watch 30 minutes of Saturday’s match to assess these two Galacticos - and what a laugh! Both players regularly passed straight to opposition players and Raskin looked slower than a VAR
