Celtic don’t have to worry about qualifiers with last season’s title win earning them a ticket to the lucrative, new-look group stage of UEFA’s premier competition.

And with that safely secured and 12 out of the last 13 titles, why should Brendan Rodgers and the Parkhead board be pushing the board out on transfers? Stephen Johnstone, Ardentinny , said: “The Celtic board are quite right to act like Scrooge as they don't need to spend on players to bolster their squad.
