Celtic are telling transfer fairytales as Hotline sceptics crunch the numbers behind Kyogo and O'Riley exits

Business is booming in the transfer market - and the potential exodus from Celtic is dominating the talking points with just days left in the summer window.

With Kyogo, Matt O'Riley and Reo Hatate all being touted with a Celtic exit and Scott McAdam, Glasgow has urged the Parkhead board to spend big in the coming days. He emailed: "If teams are going to rip the core out of our team then the board will really need to step up and spend big to replace them if we want to compete at all levels."

But with big paydays potentially heading to Parkhead, Douglas McFadzean, Giffnock was keen to talk up a forgotten man in the potential profits: "In spite of all the publicity regarding O'Riley, there is the forgotten man - Big Ange. He is directly responsible for players all currently playing and each could be sold for eight figure sums and all starting at £20million. Ange Postecoglou - gone but not forgotten."

The possible departures have Denis Bruce, Bishopbriggs believing in a big turnaround in the title picture next month: "If O'Riley, Hatate and Kyogo are sold before the end of the transfer window and the Parkhead club has not brought in replacements by then, the complexion on September 1 in Paradise may not look so bright for the Bhoys. It may give Clement an opportunity to grow against a much weaker team than the one he expected his team to face."

Stephen Mulhern, Dumbarton has warned Kyogo against a potential switch to the English Premier League champions: When you look at the quality of players that Man City have on their bench it would be almost impossible for Kyogo to establish himself in the starting line up.
