After frustration against Dundee United, Celtic will look to dispel any chat of a title battle as they host Motherwell.

Brendan Rodgers' side remain unbeaten domestically, but were far from their best in a drab game in the City of Discovery which, coupled with victory for Rangers against Dundee, closed the gap at the top of the Premiership to nine points. And they will be determined to get back to winning ways in front of a bumper Boxing Day crowd at Parkhead.

It's the start of a hectic spell for clubs who will be in action four times over the next 10 days, meaning boss Rodgers could be tempted to freshen-up his squad for the visit of Stuart Kettlewell's Motherwell, who are sitting pretty in fourth in the Premiership table after an impressive campaign so far. They will be boosted by the availability of Dan Casey after his red card - branded "the worst decision I've ever seen" by Kettlewell was successfully appealed.
