Liz says: "First impressions matter, especially when hosting a party. Your entrance sets the tone for the evening so it’s worth investing a little effort to make it spectacular."
She suggests a simple yet effective way is by using fairy lights and reusable lighting chains. "Not only are these affordable, but they’re also versatile and can be reused for multiple occasions, making them an eco-friendly and budget-friendly option. Win-win!"
Liz says start by turning off all your house lights to create a blank canvas, then experiment with lighting placement to craft a warm, inviting glow. Layer your lighting strategically: use up-lighting to draw attention to focal points like doorways, plants, or feature walls, instantly adding drama and elegance. Drape fairy lights across tables, ceilings, or along banisters to create a magical, twinkling effect.
