CCTV appeal after spate of burglaries by suspects on e-bikes

Police have issued a CCTV appeal after a spate of burglaries in Whitefield.

The burglaries were reported to have happened on Friday, January 12. Officers believe the suspects were travelling around the area on Sur-Ron electric bikes.

Officers launched an investigation into the spate and burglaries and today (April 16) issued an appeal on social media. Police released CCTV images of three people they want to speak to in connection with the alleged offences.

"It may be that you recognise the clothing or build of the people in the images below, or you may have information that could assist us with our enquiries", police said.

Anyone who recognises the males, or who has any information on the burglaries, should contact Greater Manchester Police. Officers can be contacted on 101 quoting incident number 000156-12012024.

Alternatively, information can be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
