Cavani, Matic, Bailly: Manchester United injury latest and return dates

Manchester United are close to full strength for the weekend Premier League showdown at Leeds United.

Having returned to winning ways against Brighton midweek, the Old Trafford giants are gearing up for a short trip across the M62 to Elland Road on Sunday afternoon (2pm).

That meeting with their rivals comes three days before the Champions League last-16 first leg with Atletico Madrid.

Combined they represent a hugely important doubleheader for United as they continue a top-four charge, before getting down to business in the marquee European competition.

Interim manager Ralf Rangnick has spoken to the media in the build-up to facing Leeds.

During that pre-match press conference, the German provided updates on Eric Bailly (ankle), Nemanja Matic (shin) and Edinson Cavani (groin and stomach) and news of a setback for back-up goalkeeper Tom Heaton (stomach).
