Cardiff make flying start in Challenge Cup with dominant Brive thrashing

Cardiff made a flying start to their Challenge Cup campaign scoring seven tries as they thrashed Brive at the Arms Park.

Dai Young's side were in the ascendancy from the word go with the club viewing this as a competition they can really make a mark in. They dominated the French club physically, taking them apart at the set-piece and proceeded to cut them to shreds out wide.

Cardiff made a fast start with a long pass from Max Llewellyn sending Josh Adams charging down the touchline.

Brive were really struggling to cope with the pace Cardiff were putting on the game and after a powerful charge from Rhys Carre Lloyd Williams finished a superb try on his 250th game for the club.
