Cardiff Half Marathon 2023 live updates as more than 27,000 runner take part in 20th anniversary race

Runners are taking to the streets of Cardiff on Sunday as the Cardiff Half Marathon returns for the 20th year. The half marathon starts at 10am and the sold-out event will seem more than 27,000 runners race across the city - which included a record number from outside Wales, both from overseas and across the UK.

They will start outside Cardiff Castle before following a 13-mile route, showcasing the city's famous landmarks, passing the Principality and Cardiff City Stadiums. Runners then headed to Penarth Marina before crossing the barrage to Cardiff Bay and running past the Norwegian Church and Wales Millennium Centre. After completing a loop of Roath Park lake, runners finish outside Cardiff’s civic centre.
