Cardiff City are in cup action for the first time this season as they welcome Bristol Rovers to Cardiff City Stadium.

The Bluebirds are hoping to bounce back from their opening-day league defeat against Sunderland at the weekend by advancing in the Carabao Cup against their League One opposition this evening.

It is likely to be a much-changed team from Erol Bulut, who will play fringe players and academy prospects in a bid to overcome Matt Taylor's side.
