Cardiff City manager search Live: Updates as Steve Morison explains why he was sacked
Steve Morison has spoken for the first time since his Cardiff City sacking.
The former Bluebirds manager was a pundit on Sky Sports News for Wales' Nations League game against Poland on Sunday night where he was asked to explain the circumstances surrounding his axe last Sunday.
"Ultimately I didn't do good enough I suppose," he said. "I was tasked with making lots of changes. I felt like we did that on the whole, from staff to playing personnel.
"Changing styles, lowering age groups, lowering wage bills. Personally I thought we were on that path. There were very close games we lost, we could have taken points out of."
Mark Hudson has been handed the reigns for the weekend's game with Burnley but in the meantime we'll keep you updated with everything that's going on in our live blog below. Scroll down for updates.
