Leeds United swatted Cardiff City aside with a dominant display and a 3-0 victory in the Welsh capital.
Two first-half goals, the first from Patrick Bamford and the second from Welshman Daniel James, and a late strike from Georginio Rutter were enough to see off the Bluebirds. Crysencio Summerville missed a penalty late in the second half, too, so it could have been much worse than that.
It's been a difficult period for Erol Bulut's side over the last few months and this performance was lacklustre and disappointing, neither taking the attack to the opposition nor getting in their faces defensively. It was passive and not at all what City supporters would have wanted to see.

Leeds showed their prowess right from the off, dominating possession and making light work of Cardiff's so-called bolstered midfield. The visitors played through the Bluebirds with consummate ease and the game plan simply was not working for Bulut.
That could not be said for Daniel Farke and his team, who executed exactly what they set out to do. The first goal came as no surprise, all told, with Leeds banging on the door throughout the first portion of the game before Bamford netted. Junior Firpo got past Manolis Siopis far too easily on the left before Crysencio Summerville was played in down the edge of the box. He fired a cross low into the box and there was a bit of pinball before it landed at the feet of Bamford, who was on the floor but swept it in.
