Canadian Grand Prix: How can I watch the race in the UK this weekend?

Formula 1 makes a long-awaited return to Canada this weekend for round 9 of the 2022 world championship.

Montreal has been a popular fixture for F1 for a long time now, but we’ve not raced there since 2019 thanks to the pandemic.

We’re back in Canada now, though, and here we take a look at how you can watch all the action in the UK…

Sky Sports, as ever, is the main place to be this weekend for every session.

Simon Lazenby will be anchoring the coverage whilst David Croft will be leading commentary with them joined by pundits and reporters like Ted Kravitz, Rachel Brooks and Martin Brundle delivering top insight and detail.

Sky use their Sky Sports F1 channel to cover every session of every race weekend live, from practice on Friday through to the race on Sunday, and have exclusive rights over all but one race this year; the British Grand Prix.

For those without Sky, Channel 4 show extensive highlights of the race every Sunday evening and their coverage also deserves plenty of credit, with the likes of David Coulthard providing analysis.
