Canada's Reece Howden wins back-to-back World Cup ski cross gold
Reece Howden won gold at a ski cross event in Innichen, Italy, on Saturday for his second consecutive gold-medal result on the World Cup circuit.
The win was the second in a row for the native of Cultus Lake, B.C. Howden took gold on Tuesday in Arosa, Switzerland to become the men's all-time leader in World Cup wins. Saturday's win brings his career World Cup win total to 20.
Rounding out the podium were Swiss ski racers Alex Fiva and Tobias Baur, who won silver and bronze, respectively.
Fellow Canadian Jared Schmidt was also in the big final, but did not finish.
