Campsite horror as 'speeding' car 'flipped and rolled' before landing on top of tent 'with baby inside'
A 'speeding' car 'flipped and rolled' before landing on top of a tent that reportedly had a baby inside on a campsite in Wales on Saturday night (August 12).
Six people were rushed to hospital, one of which was by air ambulance, after the horrific scenes unfolded at the Newgale Campsite on the Pembrokeshire coast.
Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed that a blue Ford Fiesta left the A487 and crashed into the campsite just after 10:30pm, leaving two people seriously injured.

A total of nine people sustained injuries, with one person was airlifted to hospital in Cardiff by air ambulance as four others were taken to Glangwili Hospital in Carmarthen and one to Swansea's Morriston Hospital.
A baby was reportedly in the tent that was hit, but was not injured, according to owners Mike and Clare Harris, who shared details of the incident that left holidaying families horrified.
Clare Harris told the PA news agency: “The car was speeding down the hill, realised it needed to slow down and tried to brake. It flipped and rolled several times, and crashed into the tent.
“There was a young child, a baby, in the tent at the time, thankfully they are okay. It’s a tragic accident that the police are dealing with, that’s all we can say at the moment.”
Mr Harris told Wales Online that the vehicle appeared to hit an area where a group of people from several tents had gathered outside their tents to socialise.
The car is believed to have been travelling from the village of Roch towards St Davids when it crashed off the A487. Officers said the road, that was closed overnight to allow investigations to take place, was reopened before 8am on Sunday (August 13).
