Camera crews spotted in Didsbury 'filming for new Harlan Coben Netflix series'

Camera and lighting crews were spotted in Didsbury on Friday evening (April 12), thought to have been filming for the upcoming Harlan Coben series Missing You.

Following on from the success of Michelle Keegan-starring Fool Me Once, film crews have already been seen taking over parts of the city centre for the latest TV adaptation from the best-selling American author.

Scenes for Missing You have already been shot on Hardman Street in Spinningfields and Victoria Square in Bolton. On Friday night, lighting and camera crews were parked up around Marie Louise Gardens.

It is understood the teams were there as part of ongoing filming for the latest Netflix series, based off Coben's 2014 novel. Kat, a police detective, sees her life unravel when she stumbles across the profile of her ex-fiancé on a dating site more than a decade after he disappeared.

There has so far been no date confirmed for when the latest drama will hit screens. It follows the runaway success of Fool Me Once Once, which became the most-watched British Netflix show of all-time when it launched on New Year's Day. The eight part series, which featured scenes in Ashton-under-Lyne, Alexandra Park in Oldham and on the roof of the Corn Exchange, had audiences gripped.

In Missing You, Slow Horses star Rosalind Eleazar will take the lead role of Kat, with Richard Armitage, Lenny Henry, Samantha Spiro, Steve Pemberton, Lisa Faulkner and Paul Kaye also confirmed as cast members.

Missing You will be the ninth on-screen adaptation to be produced from the bestselling author through his ongoing partnership with Netflix. It is being produced by Quay Street
