Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 New Level Revealed

A full level from the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 campaign was shown at Summer Game Fest 2022.

During Summer Game Fest Live, Infinity Ward and Activision debuted the first campaign gameplay for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. It was revealed one day after the first official trailer, with Task Force 141 is called upon to save the world once more.

Dark Water appears to be a conventional Call of Duty task on the surface, however, the level includes a part with a moving ship and shifting cover to give some variety to the fighting in Modern Warfare 2’s campaign. 

Dark Water is just one of Modern Warfare 2’s objectives, according to Infinity Ward, and it’s supposed to highlight the studio’s aim to give some of Call of Duty’s most popular level types a new spin or add new aspects.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was one of the games showcased during Geoff Keighley’s presentation at the Summer Games Fest 2022. Members of Task Force 141 are featured in the next instalment of the Modern Warfare series, which is gaining a lot of traction.

Now that more facts about the gameplay have surfaced, we have a better idea of what to expect when the game is released. The trailer showed Task Force 141 in a new Dark Water level with powerful weapons and a dangerous battlefield. It was comparable to Wet Work from the 2007 shooter for COD 4 fans.

Dark Water is a mission in which your unit of soldiers infiltrates a stormy oil rig in the middle of the ocean in classic FPS style. As the team climbs their way up the rig toward a missile launcher at the top, they discover the controls are on
