Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 epic reveal trailer has dropped

Call of Duty fans got their first taste of the highly-anticipated Modern Warfare 2 as Infinity Ward dropped a full-length reveal trailer.

After months of rumour and waiting, we finally got to see what the next mission for Task Force 141 might look like.

The latest game in the Call of Duty repertoire will be released on October 28 so, for now, the hyped fan base will have to make do with just the trailer.

Familiar faces like like Price, Soap, Gaz, and Ghost from the previous game make an appearance in an all-action clip that has unsurprisingly gone viral online.

The campaign mode sees that familiar cohort mobilising to eliminate a hostile threat to the United States of America while, of course, the famous multiplayer mode will be making a return.

Missions will traverse the world, jumping from Europe, Asia and the Americas in the form of underwater sieges, air assaults and stealth as well as the regular land-based combat.

The original Modern Warfare was one of the most-loved games of the series and so it is no surprise that fans are absolutely chomping at the bit to get playing the sequel.

Recent new additions to the series haven’t exactly been received well among the fan base, with disappointed players often complaining of numerous issues within the game.

That same fan base will be desperately hoping that the new Modern Warfare will blow all their expectations out of the water when it drops in the Autumn.

If the trailer is anything to go by it looks like it is going to be a truly wild ride.
