'Buy him!' - Manchester United board sent clear Christopher Nkunku transfer message

Some Manchester United supporters have pleaded with the club to sign highly-rated RB Leipzig attacking midfielder Christopher Nkunku following his exploits against Borussia Dortmund on Saturday.

It was another excellent performance from the versatile attacker and highlighted why so many clubs are reportedly interested in securing his signature.

Nkunku, who was awarded his first cap for France in last week's international break, has been sensational for Leipzig this season, scoring 27 goals and grabbing 17 assists in all competitions. United are reportedly amongst those, with it recently claimed by ESPN that Ralf Rangnick, who has close ties to Leipzig and the Red Bull franchise, had put his name forward to be added to the club's list of transfer targets ahead of the summer.

And with the 24-year-old continuing to go from strength-to-strength, it is hardly surprising that some United supporters are wanting to see the club try and secure his signature this summer. Below, MEN Sport has taken a close look
