Burnley weighing up deal for 12-goal striker

Burnley look like they could be on the hunt for more attacking options this summer and their search for strikers has seemingly led them to Makhtar Gueye, as reported by Nieuwsblad in Belgium.

The Clarets have been relegated back down to the Championship and that will mean whoever the new boss is will need to come in and reshape the squad to his liking, whilst ensuring they are strong enough to bounce straight back up to the top flight.

One area that the club certainly needs to improve is in their forward line, with the club’s highest goalscorer in the last campaign being Maxwel Cornet with just nine goals. The next best effort came from defender Ben Mee with three.

Burnley then will need some strikers – and one name that has cropped up is Makhtar Gueye, who currently plays for KV Oostende in Belgium. If you look at his record in Belgium,
