Vincent Kompany has long been mooted for the vacant managerial role at Burnley but fresh speculation has now suggested he may be on the radar of French club Nice.
The former Manchester City defender recently left his role as boss at Anderlecht and a move to freshly-relegated Burnley, closer to his family who are based in Manchester, is expected to go through before long. But the deal has yet to be rubber-stamped and as such there continues to be speculation regarding other clubs potentially wading in and snaring the Belgian.
German side Borussia Monchengladbach were tentatively linked before they eventually appointed ex-Norwich boss Daniel Farke this week. Now, Nice are said to be monitoring Kompany in the event they suddenly lose their head coach.
Christophe Galtier has been talked up as a possible option for PSG should, as expected, they dispense with the services of existing manager Mauricio Pochettino. The former Spurs man has only been in charge since January 2021 but despite winning last season's Ligue 1 he
