Bulls name Springbok-laden squad for URC clash away to Zebre

The Bulls have named a 28-man touring squad for their away clash to Zebre in the United Rugby Championship on Friday.

They will be without flyhalf Morne Steyn who received a three-match ban for his dangerous tackle on Lukhanyo Am in their 22-29 loss to Sharks in the last round.

Chris Smith is expected to start at No 10 with youngster Juan Mostert also included in the squad after making his Currie Cup for the franchise in January.

The Bulls squad will leave South Africa on Monday, arrive in Italy on Tuesday and then start preparing for the clash in Parma set for 19:30 on Friday.

Jake White has selected a strong Springbok-laden squad of 16 forwards and 12 backs for the encounter.

The Bulls currently sit in 12th place on the URC log, having won three of their nine games to date.

Zebre are in last place with seven losses in seven games an only a solitary point to their name.
