Bulls backline star scoops URC Player of the Month award
Bulls utility back Kurt-Lee Arendse has scooped the United Rugby Championship (URC) Player of the Month award for March.
URC log
Arendse scored two tries in the Bulls' 55-20 victory over the Dragons on 26 March, but also shone in his overall contributions for the team as they made a clean-sweep of northern hemisphere opposition.
His second try against the Dragons, where he ran from well inside his own half to bamboozle several defenders, will surely be a contender for try of the season.
Apart from his obvious vision and pace, Arendse also displayed some silky footwork to dot down.

He has become a key cog in the Bulls' armoury and boasts five URC tries this season.
While voting for Arendse as the standout URC player for March, South African rugby pundits were effusive in their praise of "the threat he’s brought to the Bulls' attack" and also highlighted the fact that "Arendse's underrated ability is creating for others and not just finishing".
According to the voting media, "He has been electric, solid and he has done everything right at every stage for the Bulls... his line-breaks have led to multiple try assists and he gets the team onto the front foot each time he touches the ball."
