The Bulls confirmed on Wednesday that Springbok winger Aphiwe Dyantyi and former Stormers flanker Kuyenzeka 'Nama' Xaba have signed for the Pretoria-based franchise.

Both have penned a two-deal until June 2026.

Dyanti burst ono the local scene for the Lions, where his eye-catching performances saw him play 13 times in green and gold, scoring six tries and winning the 2018 World Rugby Breakthrough Player of the Year award.

"This feels like a second opportunity," Dyanti said on his move to Pretoria from the Sharks.

"It will be good to be in an environment like the one the Bulls have, almost very familiar considering that I was down the highway during the start of my career.

"I spent over 10 years in Gauteng, so it is familiar territory, and this move feels like me coming home. I am closer to family and friends, a support structure that has been so important for me over the years.

Xaba is a former Glenwood High pupil who represented the University of Cape Town and made 25 appearances for the Stormers.

On his move to the Bulls, Xaba said the new challenge excited him.

"This is a privilege for me to come join the most successful union in South Africa," Xaba said.

"I am looking forward to a different challenge away from my comfort zone. There are a lot of quality players at the Vodacom Bulls and I want to play alongside them. I also have a wonderful opportunity to be taught by seasoned coaches - I am looking forward to learning from them.
