Bukayo Sako contract latest and what's been said about his future at Arsenal

Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka is enjoying the attacking freedom given to him by boss Mikel Arteta, as he looks to help his side into the UEFA Champions League this season. The Gunners currently occupy fourth position in the table and with a mere 10 games left to go, sit three points clear of 5th placed Manchester United in the Premier League table.

A by-product of the famous Arsenal academy, Saka burst onto the scene at just 18 and has now established himself as a regular part of Arteta's first time squad. Now, aged 20, the forward is known for his electric pace and superb finishing that has aided not only his, but also his teammates' chances of European football next season.

Registering 10 goals and 5 assists so far, Saka is more commonly deployed out on the right flank in a bid to cause trouble for opposing fullbacks. With superb young and hungry attacking players around him too such as Emile Smith Rowe and Gabrielle Martinelli, the future looks bright in terms of his development as one of England's hottest prospects.

Despite the praise, Arsenal will be hoping his stay at the Emirates is nothing close to short and sweet given interest from elsewhere in recent weeks. Liverpool and Manchester City are said to be two clubs who are closely monitoring his current contract situation in north London.

Saka is under contract with the Gunners until June of 2024.

Although estimated by TransferMarkt at just under £60million, football.london understands his market value to be much more than that, given his age and his value to current club Arsenal.
