Bugsnax: Downloadable Nintendo Switch Release Date Revealed

The gaming community will be over the moon to hear that Bugsnax will be coming out on the Nintendo Switch and we have all the key details around this release.

The game was originally released in November 2020 for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and macOS. Bugsnax is a fun and adorable looking adventure video game where players have to explore a mysterious island in an attempt to find and capture the half-bug-half-snack creatures. 

After about a year and a half, the developers, Young Horses, are planning to make Bugsnax available for  Nintendo Switch.

This surely is great news for all the players wanting to jump into the game and take in what it has to offer.

Apart from Nintendo, Bugsnax is also set to release on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Xbox and PC Game Pass, as well as Microsoft’s Xbox Cloud Gaming platform. 

This news comes via none other than Young Horses themselves as the developers tweeted the information on the release of the game.

Bugsnax will be releasing on Nintendo Switch on Thursday, April 28, 2022. Nintendo Switch owners will be able to get the game from the Nintendo Switch eShop on the same day and the DLC will be offered as a free add-on to all players.

That’s not all. A physical version of Bugsnax will also be released via Fangamer, as highlighted in their recent tweet.

No release date for the physical version of the game has been revealed. Based on pure speculations, disc versions of the game might arrive as early as holiday 2022. Although, take this with a pinch of salt as official timelines can prove to be otherwise.
