Bryan Danielson & Jon Moxley: Four wrestlers who could join exciting AEW faction

A month removed from Bryan Danielson’s proposal to Jon Moxley regarding the two teaming up and forming an alliance to help and nurture some of AEW’s younger talent.

Moxley said he would need to bleed with Danielson first before joining him, and so that’s where this rivalry, if you can call it that, finds itself currently, with the two set to face off this weekend at AEW Revolution.

So, with this new group potentially in the works, GiveMeSport looks at four wrestlers we’d like to see join the faction.

Daniel Garcia

An obvious choice for the group given his similar wrestling style to Danielson, he would be the perfect talent for the American Dragon to take under his wing.

Garcia has also faced off against both men, against Danielson recently on Dynamite and against Moxley in the main event of AEW Rampage the First Dance and despite coming up short in both encounters, massively impressed in defeat.

Although his first few months in AEW surpassed any of all expectations we had for Garcia, recently his momentum seems to have stalled slightly and linking up with two of the company’s top stars would be ideal for his career.

Being the ‘son’ of 2point0 has served him well up to this point, but it feels like Garcia is ready to go to the next level, and this group would offer exactly that.

Lee Moriarty

Lee Moriarty arrived in AEW with a lot of excitement surrounding him and has shown why in several of his matches, but meaningful stories and rivalries have been thin on the ground.

He’s had high profile matches with CM Punk and Danielson, showcases to demonstrate what Moriarty is capable of, but nothing to really sink his teeth into.
