Bruno Fernandes warned his actions make Man Utd look "vulnerable" amid captaincy row

Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes has been warned that his antics are making the team appear vulnerable, as issues continue to flood the dressing room.

Club captain Harry Maguire has been under scrutiny this season after a rocky period in the United team, and Mirror Football exclusively revealed on Thursday night that there is growing friction in the dressing room.

There are reports that Cristiano Ronaldo and Maguire are locking horns over power after interim boss Ralf Rangnick asked the five-time Ballon d'Or winner to mentor the younger players.

Amid an ongoing captaincy row at the club, Fernandes has also been warned, as United have been accused of not 'sticking together'.

Reports have emerged that Maguire could hand over his captaincy to Ronaldo for the remainder of the season, as the 37-year-old stands out as the obvious role model within the dressing room.

Maguire is understandably against the idea of relinquishing his role as club captain, but the latest issue is just the latest problem to have been leaked from the United dressing room, and former Manchester City star Micah Richards has brutally said it's time for them to 'grow up'.

It seems as though more leaks come out of United's dressing room than any other in the Premier League at this moment in time, and Richards is 'flabbergasted' by the frequency at which negativity is pouring out of the club.

Richards wrote in his column for the Daily Mail : "The idea that things could leak out of a dressing room — and be detrimental to your own club — is a concept I cannot get my head around.

"It is why I am flabbergasted by the constant cycle of news that keeps coming out of Manchester United, one that consistently puts them in a bad light."
