Bruno Fernandes transfer verdict delivered as Manchester United star's brother makes claim
Alejandro Garnacho's brother has dismissed speculation that Bruno Fernandes could leave Manchester United at the end of the season.
The Manchester Evening News reported on Tuesday that the 29-year-old could end his four-and-a-half-year stay at Old Trafford this summer if United fail to qualify for Europe, with Bayern Munich and Inter Milan understood to be interested in signing the midfielder.
Fernandes, signed by Ole Gunnar Solskaer from Sporting CP in January 2020, is United's club captain and has two years left on his current deal with the Reds.

However, Garnacho's brother, Robert, has taken to X, formerly known as Twitter, to ease fears that Fernandes could depart Old Trafford, instead insisting that "Bruno (is) staying".
Earlier this month, manager Erik ten Hag said he was confident that Fernandes would see out his contract with United until 2026 despite the midfielder admitting he would assess his future in the Premier League after this summer's European Championship.
"I haven’t even asked [Fernandes about the context] because I know he is Manchester United and I think he is very happy to be here," said Ten Hag.
Fernandes has missed United's last two games against Crystal Palace and Arsenal but could return in time for the final home game of the season against Newcastle United on Wednesday.
