Bruno Fernandes has told Manchester United one player they need to sign this summer

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has congratulated teammate Tom Heaton on being included in England's plans for the European Championship in Germany this summer.

Heaton, who remains in talks with United over a new contract, has earned three senior caps for England during his career, last featuring in a 3-2 defeat to France in June 2017. He has been included in squads since, most recently making the bench on six occasions in 2019.

Southgate said: "I am really pleased Tom has agreed to join us in Germany. Experience tells us that a tournament can put a lot of demand on our goalkeeping group led by Martyn Margetson.
