Bruno Fernandes aims jibe at Leeds United after Manchester United question
Manchester United playmaker Bruno Fernandes has aimed a cheeky dig at arch rivals Leeds United when asked to name his favourite Premier League venue. Fernandes is currently in Australia with his teammates as part of United's ongoing pre-season tour.
Back-to-back wins against Liverpool and Melbourne Victory have given United the perfect start to pre-season under Erik ten Hag. Further matches against Crystal Palace and Aston Villa are to come down under before Fernandes and United conclude their summer programme in Norway against Atletico Madrid.
Then comes their main order of business in the Premier League. Naturally, two key dates for United and supporters to look forward to are the meetings with Leeds.

United welcome the Whites to Old Trafford on Sunday, September 18 — and the reverse fixture takes place at Elland Road on Saturday, February 11. At both stadiums, Fernandes has lit up the rivalry since Leeds returned to the Premier League two seasons ago.
In four matches against them, Fernandes has netted six goals and provided two assists. Three of those games have resulted in heavy United wins.
And Portugal international Fernandes, 27, clearly ranks those moments among the most memorable in his United career so far and he has already started the mind-games for this season. He took aim at Leeds when taking part in a launch event for the new away kit in Melbourne.
When asked to choose his favourite away day, Fernandes said: "I know it is a big one for the fans and I have scored loads of goals against Leeds."
