Brumbies down Chiefs in impressive Super Rugby effort in Hamilton

The Brumbies took advantage of some lackadaisical defending by the Chiefs to secure an impressive 28-38 win at FMG Stadium in Super Rugby on Saturday.

The Brumbies have now won four of their last five games and are pushing the Blues for the top spot in the standings.

Lolesio missed the conversion but kicked a penalty a few minutes later to put the Australians 7-15 ahead.

They kept themselves in striking distance with a wonderful team try in the 26th minute with Cortez Ratima finishing off the 14-phase attack right under the poles. Gatland couldn't miss the conversion for there.

Another Lolesio penalty left the Brumbies with a slender 14-18 lead at halftime.

The Australians burst out of the blocks after the break, winning a turnover penalty shortly after the kickoff, booting it
